WCQ has built a team of people who are passionate about delivering the best possible outcome for our client as well as working together internally in an environment that is something others want to be part of.

All of our staff are professional, well trained and are very experienced in their respective fields. At WCQ we promote staff development and continued improvement through extensive training programs for all staff and attendance to relevant seminars and courses. WCQ sees this as an essential part of ensuring our business continues to attract the right staff to join our team whilst providing the best possible future for our existing staff.



Glen Winney - Managing Director 

Glen's career commenced in Hervey Bay as an apprentice carpenter in 1981. As a resident of Hervey Bay for 30 years his major strengths are his local knowlede and expertise of teh Fraser Coast property market. Glen's business philosophy is to provide a one stop shop for all commercial property needs, providing real estate, construction, project management and development services to clients and syndicates.

Malcolm Lemmon – Construction Manager

With more than 30 years in the industry, quantity surveyor Malcolm Lemmon is one of the pillars of the Win Constructions Queensland team. After moving to Hervey Bay two years ago, Malcolm joined the WCQ team and nominates the professionalism and positivity as the major points of difference with the company. “The industry has been facing tough times but we have a positive outlook for the future,” Malcolm said.

Lynn Jones – Finance and Accounts

Officer Lynn Jones has been part of the Win Constructions Queensland team for the past eight months and is enjoying her role in accounts and as the company’s payroll and finance officer. “The people at WCQ make the most difference. It is a great company to work for,” Lynn said. “It is a company that is doing very well despite the economic downturn and most importantly it is a company that thinks outside the square."

Zoe Little - Administration Support

Zoe Little joined the Win Constructions Queensland team in 2013 to look after reception and administration duties. She has long-term aspirations with the company and wants to move up the corporate ladder within WCQ. “I thoroughly enjoy working here. The people are all great individuals that work together to make a great team,” Zoe said.

David Moore - Site Supervisor


David Moore boasts more than 40 years in the building industry having worked throughout the country before joining Rhind in 2003. The qualified carpenter and joiner's role is to oversee the construction sites and pull together the subcontractors to ensure the job runs smoothly, to time and on budget. "The fact is that the sub contractors want to work for WCQ - they have a very good reputation in the industry for their quality and stability," David said.
