WCQ took out the coveted Master Builders Award for Refurbishment/Renovations up to $750,000 for this successful project.
They asked for bi-fold windows with bench seating to overlook their stunning view of Hervey Bays pristine water, bi-fold doors were added along the esplanade side for patrons. The roof was extended over the outside seating area to provide shelter from unpredictable weather. WCQ took just over a month to complete such a visually appealing yet functional renovation.

This project required a very tight time frame; therefore, a lot of carefully planned and diligent work methods were required. Starting from a bare shell the first thing executed was the ceiling tiles removed to create a cathedral ceiling in part of the area to bring in natural light. One challenge faced during the refurbishment was cutting the floor and completing all new subsurface plumbing. The level of fit out and detail in this project is some of the best we have ever done in our area which required all of our trades to lift to another level. The project from the client’s point of view was a complete success. They were extremely pleased with us meeting their incredibly tight frames with exceptional quality workmanship.
WCQ completed a 700 sqm fit out for CPL in what was a large warehouse previously. As part of this fit out, we completed 2 kitchens, a laundry, 2 toilets and a fully disabled compliant bathroom. As a full one stop shop that we are this construction included all council and approval applications and engaged a certifier to help with material change of use and full certification.
The fit out itself consisted of a complete electrical re-wire, total data and security package, automatic doors, timber frame and fully soundproofed internal walls, and new flooring throughout. CPL organised a full set of new office furniture which was soft wired by WCQ to suit their needs.
